A collection inspired by Scandinavian design and architectural forms, Otiora reimagines pet furniture pieces as integral objects in high-end interiors.

Making its North American debut, Scandinavian brand Otiora has launched a collection of design-led, pet furniture pieces that support natural animal behavior while looking at home in modern, high-end interiors. The range draws inspiration from Scandinavian design and clean architectural forms, offering a stylish take on pet furniture. The company uses sustainable, non-toxic materials to produce the handcrafted collection, ensuring that each piece is not only animal-safe and durable but also eco-friendly.

“Otiora was created to bring architectural thinking into the way we design for pets—considering structure, proportion, and behavior as part of a unified whole,” says the design team, adding that “each piece is intended to exist naturally within a space, not outside of it.”

The Otiora collection comprises a range of designs that make both pets and their people happy. More than just practical pieces of furniture, the products are design objects to become integral in the interior design of a space rather than a merely practical addition.

At the heart of the collection, the Domi cat house draws inspiration from architecture, featuring a dome-like shape and a lattice-style construction. As a result, it provides a place of quiet retreat while filtering the light. Three scratchers allow cats to engage in their natural instinct, protecting sofas and armchairs from claws. All three give a nod to architectural elements. While Obelisk has the shape of a tower, Jazz has a sculptural form with platforms placed at different heights to encourage cats to scratch, climb and rest. Pacato saves floor space with a wall-mounted design that references modern façades and resembles an abstract artwork.

The Otiora collection features products that range from $11 to $449. Various customization options that include color, material, and size allow pet owners to create the perfect furniture for their furry friends and their home. Made by hand from quality, sustainably sourced materials that also include verified recycled content, the Otiora range of pet furniture meets the demands of eco-conscious pet owners who also love good design.
