The recently announced BMW R nineT Urban G/S bike brings the classic look of the 1980s R 80 G/S to modern city streets. Blending stylish lines, an enduro vibe and the famous color palette of the original, this motorcycle is a stunning addition to the popular R nineT series. Apart from the white, blue and red tones, the new bike maintains the same shape of the headlamp mask of the original and features an analogue-style speedometer design.

In terms of performance, it comes with an air-cooled boxer engine of 1170 cc and 110 hp, a 6-speed gearbox and an 18 liter aluminum fuel tank. It also features an inverted telescopic fork, a BMW Paralever suspension at the rear, 320 mm front disc brakes, MX style mudguard, 19 inch front wheel, wired spoke alloy wheels, ABS, and the iconic flat red seat. Optional features include filigree wired-spokes rims, off-road tires, as well as BMW’s Automatic Stability Control. The Urban G/S can also be easily customized thanks to the modular accessory set which allows the owners to add accessories to their new bike. The R nineT Urban G/S will be launched in 2017, to the delight of fans of the original R 80. Photo credits: BMW.
