A new chapter for a popular BMW motorcycle.

Launched more than 35 years ago, the BMW Motorrad GS is one of the most popular bikes from the automotive giant’s impressive lineup. Versatile and powerful, the motorcycle suits both long-distance travel and off-road adventures, offering a blend of performance and efficiency. Now, the brand opens a new chapter in the evolution of the beloved motorcycle. Set for a 2019 release, BMW R 1250 GS features an upgraded build that improves upon every element of the original. The 2019 BMW GS comes with a further advanced boxer engine to provide more power as well as more torque. The 1254 cc engine produces 134 bhp and comes with a new ShiftCam technology which not only improves power across all speed levels, but also reduces emissions and fuel consumption.

Included as standard driving modes, the Automatic Stability Control and Hill Start Control adapt to the needs of the rider. The BMW Motorrad Dynamic ESA “Next Generation” electronic suspension ensures optimal damping and stability while riding. In terms of connectivity, the bike has a 6.5-inch full-color TFT screen and a multi-controller for easy access to controls. Other features of the 2019 BMW GS include a LED headlamp and the BMS-O engine control system for efficient carburetion. Finally, BMW R 1250 GS comes in two finishes and two style variants.
