4th Dimension Concrete Wrist Watch

View all 4 Photos

Founded by Sean Yu and Yi-Ting Cheng in 2005, 22 Design Studio specializes in personal accessories handcrafted of cement and metal. Their choice of materials is inspired by the cityscape of Taipei, Taiwan, where the duo is based.
Updating their popular concrete wall clock, 22 Design Studio has created a wrist watch version for upcoming release. Like the wall clock, the wrist watch features a concrete face on which each hour is progressively raised so that the timepiece resembles an aerial view of a spiral staircase. Think Vertigo. The wrist watch incorporates lighter materials as well, sporting a stainless steel case, a copper crown and three-hand movement, a glass cover, and a cognac leather strap. The analog watch has no numbers except the designers’ trademark “22” engraved on the face, but the shadows from the raised face make this watch quite easy to read. Available for pre order at GSelect
