Created as a prototype by French designer Ferréol Babin, this elegant lamp puts both the organic features and character of solid wood in the best light. While one of the designer’s previous collections blended bold sculptural shapes with elements that reference nature, the Autumn lamp features a minimalist and clean design. A curved panel covers one side of the frosted glass globe. This element provides an easy and convenient way to direct the light as needed. When completely turned to the wall, the lamp illuminates with a softer glow for more relaxed mood lighting. At the same time, the panel allows the lamp to highlight the material’s natural beauty.
Simple shapes – sphere, cylinder, and curved plane – work together in harmony. The walnut wood base and panel feature grain patterns and rich brown colors. The frosted glass softens the LED light further. A perfect design for refined living spaces, the Autumn lamp would make any room look stylish as well as full of warmth. Photographs© Ferréol Babin.
