A fall silhouette inspired by heritage designs.
With the arrival of the fall season, wardrobes get a necessary adjustment. And that includes footwear. The new Clae Fall/Winter 2021 collection includes several new silhouettes that provide the perfect blend of style, quality, and comfort, but Monterey has caught our attention. Inspired by heritage designs, the shoe is simple and versatile. It suits everyday wear as well as any fall weather conditions. Plus, like all Clae footwear, Monterey is skillfully handcrafted from carefully chosen materials. The shoe comes with a bottom leather rand with quarter canvas window and an upper that combines water-repellent canvas, nubuck or suede leather, and waxed canvas.
Providing both style and comfort, the silhouette features Clae’s new Derby Sole and a cushioning EVA insole. The new Monterey comes in three versions. Black Leather Nubuck features a water-repellent leather, waxed canvas, and nubuck upper in black with a contrasting white sole. Walrus Brown Leather features suede accents instead of nubuck leather in dark brown and a dark gray outsole. Finally, the Doe Suede Gum boasts a light and warm sand color; it comes with a waxed canvas and nubuck leather upper with black accents and a matching gum, toffee colored outsole. The shoe, along with the Clae Fall/Winter 2021 collection that also includes the new Hopkins, Gibson, and Joshua silhouettes, is available online and at selected retailers worldwide.
