A Classic Car Inspired Watch – The Duesey By Icon

View all 11 Photos

Passionate about classic cars and vintage wristwatches, renowned automotive designer Jonathan Ward designed The Duesey watch – a work of art that combines both of his passions. The founder and Lead Designer of Icon spent years developing the timepiece from scratch, carefully designing every component. And the result? A classic car inspired watch that looks unlike anything else on the market.

Distinctive and elegant, The Duesey takes inspiration from the Duesenberg tachometer. The minimalist timepiece boasts a polished genuine onyx stone dial, vintage Jump Hour display with wandering minutes, as well as custom fonts. The polished titanium crown features a lizard and circle engraving with a matte finish. Crafted with turned edges and no stitching, the genuine alligator leather strap also comes with a unique titanium buckle. A black calf leather lining adds a soft touch to the strap, for more comfort. Made in Bienne, Switzerland, The Duesey features a double domed sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides, a 42mm case, and a Dubois-Depraz automatic movement.

In a similar way to vintage cars, this iconic design is available in a limited-edition. With only 50 numbered watches, the classic car inspired watch becomes a valuable collector’s item. For both automotive and wristwatch enthusiasts. If you want to be one of the lucky 50, The Duesey can be yours for $11,500. Photographs© Icon.
