Ambau Taller d’Arquitectes is an architectural, design, and project management practice based in Valencia, Spain. The studio was founded in 2009 under the name of FLY.ARQ by architects Sergio Fernandez, Carlos Luengo, and Maria Jose Yanez. In 2012 the practice reinvented itself under the current name after architect and interior designer Teresa Estellés joined the studio. In early 2015, Ignacio Fernández joined and completed the team. Ambau works on residential, commercial, and public buildings, taking on construction, rehabilitation, renovation, and interior design projects. The studio’s goal is to create an atmosphere that combines the everyday with minimalism and modern design, further enhanced by the use of noble materials like wood and natural stone.
