Custom Honda FMX 650 By Ton-Up Garage

Taking inspiration from the landscapes of Angola as well as from the vintage bikes of the 50s-80s, Ton-up Garage transformed this Honda FMX 650 into a stylish, off-road beauty. The Portugal-based custom bike workshop named the motorcycle Muxima, after a village in the Southern Africa nation. The name translates to ‘heart’ in Kimbundu; a fitting moniker for a bike built with plenty of passion. The Ton-up Garage team rebuilt several parts, including the subframe, the exhausts, intake line, and front mudguard, while the electric box now comes with new and simplified wiring. Other changes include a modified gas tank and a lowered suspension. At the front, the motorcycle now features several fresh additions, from the handlebar and grips to the speedometer and headlight. Wide tires and a small red rear light complete the build.

For the finishing touch, the team chose natural colors inspired by Muxima landscapes. The light brown tones remind of dirt roads, while the green reference the lush local vegetation. Both complement the slightly faded dark brown leather seat and the metal accents perfectly. Photo credits: Ton-up Garage.
