Nao Iwamatsu

Nao Iwamatsu is a Tokyo-based industrial designer renowned for his innovative approach to creating new value from existing technologies and materials. A graduate of Kyoto Institute of Technology, Nao initially honed his skills at a major information equipment manufacturer. There, he led product design and brand development for an array of business equipment, including Multi-Function Printers (MFPs), medical devices, and industrial measuring tools. In 2020, he joined Takram, expanding his portfolio as both an industrial and service designer. Nao's unique analogical methodology sets him apart; it seamlessly blends the aesthetics of artificial objects to yield breakthrough designs.
