E-Raw – An Electric Motorcycle Concept Designed By Essence Motorcycles

The e-revolution is taking the automotive industry by storm. We wrote last year about the Aero E-Racer, a sleek Italian bike which pays homage to off-road motorcycles and rally bikes. Now we’re happy to introduce the next chapter in the continuously evolving story of the e-bike: E-Raw, a concept bike created by French company Essence Motorcycles. Boasting a distinctive design, the motorcycle blends eye-catching features, minimalism and ingenuity. The standout element, the wooden seat that curves to provide more comfort, accentuates the empty space left behind by the fuel tank, proudly announcing to the whole world that this is, indeed, an e-bike.

To create the striking design, the company chose a surprising path. “We have returned to the starting point, the essence of the bike, to take a new direction”, says the team. Combining tradition and innovation, the brand produced a motorcycle that pleases not only design lovers but also automotive fans and those who prefer eco-friendly products. But E-Raw is not only distinctive. It comes with a 10.1 kWh battery, reaches a top speed of 96 mph and goes from 0 to 62 mph in around 3.5 seconds. With a range of 115 miles on one full charge and a charging time of just 30 minutes, the motorcycle offers an exciting and completely green alternative to classic bikes. For now, E-Raw remains a concept, but the company aims to manufacture ten units in the near future, with a price of around $60,000 per piece. Photo credits: Essence Motorcycles.
