Aerodynamic, powerful, and silent, the Vidde Alfa is the world’s first 100% electric snowmobile.

Pursuing the goal of reducing CO2 emissions in Sweden and beyond, Swedish company Vidde makes eco-friendly off-road vehicles that provide sustainable mobility solutions without sacrificing performance. With the Vidde Alfa, the brand introduces the first 100% electric snowmobile in the world. Beyond its intentionally futuristic design, the Vidde Alfa impresses with its low-noise operation. Indeed, compared to classic snowmobiles, this one runs silently, without producing loud sounds to disturb the peace and quietness of a natural landscape. Additionally, this electric snowmobile is extremely reliable, even in Arctic weather conditions of -39° Celsius, or -38.2 Fahrenheit.

The Vidde Alfa snowmobile also offers plenty of power with a 130 kW (175 Hp) motor with 400 Nm torque. It can also can tow up to 270kg. As for the battery, it charges completely in 3.5 hours and lasts for around 100 km. Introduced in a pre-series as a precursor to a mass-produced model set for a 2025 launch, the Vidde Alfa electric snowmobile is available to reserve now at a price that starts at €26,200, or around $28,400, and will start shipping in 2024.
