GoodPeople SS ’13: ‘Riviera Dandies Never Grow Up’

View all 19 Photos

We are elevating your brother, single cousin, or maybe even your very own boyfriend, to a new era beyond the pull over hoodies and drawstring basketball shorts. You’ve bit your tongue enough at the comfort fit wranglers, took a deep breath at his extensive collection of untailored suits, and promised yourself that old super-thin phish tee shirt from twenty years ago would mysteriously disappear if you had the chance.  Not cause we are haters of his blind entrance into fashion, but because we love him enough to intervene.  For now, we would like to officially introduce the out of tune male in your life to a bunch of…Good People.

Inspired by a lifestyle that beats for finer things, never settling for anything short of superb quality, effortless luxury: GoodPeople strives to reinvent the young adult male into a respectable gentleman, naturally expressing his confidence and acquaintance with culture by the way he dresses. However, and most importantly, being true to never sacrificing the risk taking character of men. Climbing the mountain of rebellion, they strive to keep everyone on their toes, presenting clever combinations integrated in their fashion lines.  Never before has anyone answered the struggle for men’s expressive style in such a right on way. They have taken our imaginations to a place where men, “escape the boredom of everyday life to the coast of Italian Riviera.” Charged us with the motto, “Freedom is making choices.” They have buried the shameful displeasure of the intimidating task of creating an outfit.  Good People take the time to guide, omit the chance to get it wrong, and valiantly wave a banner of victory for men to successfully shop, possibly even enjoying the experience.

Allison Parker is a proud stay at home mom maintaining a full schedule kissing boo boos and passing out hugs just because. Her days many times are spent between the garden and the kitchen. From a journey of learning whole food eating habits, she's taken on the challenges of baking bread, muffins and cakes from scratch and filling the cellar shelves with scores of her own canned goods each year. Writing is one of those things she does because its part of who she is. That and it's a nice break from the never ending work that comes with raising a family.
