HO Cube, Home Office Desk

View all 7 Photos

In recent years, more and more people have started working from home, whether full time or just over the weekend. But not everybody has a spare room to use as an office. And although practical, classic desks take up too much space in a living room or lounge area. Spanish designer Francesc Rifé came up with an ingenious solution to this problem.

Designed for JMM, HO Cube home office has a compact shape that makes it a perfect choice for virtually any living space. The unit folds out to uncover shelves and a file cabinet as well as LED lighting, integrated electrical power and a stool. When not in use, the home office closes to provide enough space at the top for a few books, a vase, or other smaller items. Made with a dark wood surface and a matte lacquer finish, the cabinet looks great in any décor, complementing a wide range of interiors. Photographs© JMM.
