The Jak G3 Sneakers

View all 8 Photos

A handcrafted sneaker that draws inspiration from the number 3.

Lisbon-based independent shoe brand Jak makes footwear using slow fashion principles. The company manufactures all of the products in northern Portugal and sells them directly to the consumers to offer a better price. Premium materials chosen for their durability give the shoes a longer life; from the full grain leather to rubberized leather and natural cotton. The Jak collection also draws inspiration from the concept of fusing function and design in timeless and versatile footwear. For the new G3 sneakers, the brand took inspiration from the number “3” and the fact that it is the only number to equal the sum of those below it.

The Jak G3 sneakers feature three different materials brought together in one simple style. The creative but minimalist upper features a blend of mesh, rubberized leather, and nubuck leather. To ensure maximum comfort, Jak used soft calf leather lining on the interior as well as full leather midsoles. Apart from removable shock-proof innersoles with an extra slim profile for a loose fit, the G3 sneakers also feature cemented and stitched rubber soles and natural cotton laces. An extra pair of laces along with a cotton bag are also included with the sneakers. Designed and handmade in Portugal, the Jak G3 sneakers come in Black, Dust, and Dark Blue colors.
