The Kudo Chair

Plush and versatile, this chair looks refined in any space, from residential spaces to offices.

Inspired by the contrast between soft cushions and rigid frames, the Kudo chair offers an elegant seating solution for a variety of spaces. The chair was created by Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider of German design studio Kaschkasch for furniture brand Leolux. Plush and inviting, Kudo boasts a thick cushion that overlaps the seat and backrest frame. As for the frame, it has a specially designed, three-dimensional and ergonomic silhouette that optimizes both comfort and support. Kudo comes in two versions: with a low seat or a high seat. While the former is ideal for lounging, the latter provides extra back support and suits home offices perfectly, especially those with a standing desk.

Both versions come with or without armrests and with a circular or a four-leg base. Leolux offers a range of upholstery options for the chair, along with finishes for the armrests and base, providing an easy way to create a custom design. The armrests come in wood or leather, while the textile options range from textured fabrics to leather, eco-leather, velvet, or Italian woven textiles. Colors include neutral shades and bright colors as well as multi-colored options. Apart from the Kudo chair, the brand also launched the Rolf Benz 976 High Table and the P.O.V. coffee tables. Leolux will showcase all of these designs at the 2023 edition of Salone del Mobile in Milan, which takes place in April from the 18th to the 23rd. Photography © Kaschkasch, Leolux.
