Routed in rugged style and outdoor trekking, the Italian footwear Diemme  has ventured into a sneaker project with Carhartt WIP (Work In Progress).  Their Marostica low top and high top sneaker are mostly covered in canvas, with flavorful suede touches on the tongue, ankle and heel.  Embossed logos on the leather display the brands together.  Classic ribbon influenced from Diemme designs the back from the sole to pull tabs.

Family built by brothers Dennis and Maico Signor from start to finish, Diemme in collaboration with Italian footwear manufacturer Calzaturificio Diemme has been supplying genuine boots out of their factory in Montebelluna, Italy for generations.  Their extensive knowledge in hunting, mountaineering, trekking, safety and military segments provides us with the best there is in footwear performance for challenging adventures.  Meanwhile, they have never missed a beat in style and design since having history working with top brands like Maison Martin Margiela, Chanel, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo, Nonnative and Bedwin, and the Heartbreakers.
Their commitment to consumers is this, “The ambition of Diemme Footwear is to produce the highest quality goods with an exceptional level of comfort, with progressive and innovative designs as well as sharply executed takes on classic footwear styles.”

I find a way to fearlessly provoke your senses and take you by the heart to whatever it is I’m writing about. My sweet spot is creative writing, but for the last 20 years I have been providing freelance content for publications on sustainability and green practices, design, architecture, fashion, and non-profit charity. Recently all wrapped up in producing my first book. I have bounced from NYC to Indianapolis, but my true home is a lovely small town in Central Pennsylvania where there’s a legit drive-your-tractor-to-school-day.
