When designer Jannis Ellenberger made the Drommen Bed for US company CB2, he didn’t expect the design to become so popular and even requested back in Europe. So he decided to create the Nordic Space Furniture Collection, with the Nordic Space Bed taking center stage as the standout product, providing the range’s aesthetic inspiration at the same time. A good decision in more ways than one, since the bed recently received the European Product Design Award in Gold in the Home Interior Products / Bedroom Furniture category.
Featuring a distinctive design, the bed blends minimalism and function in one versatile piece of furniture that would look good virtually anywhere. Manufactured as a green product that also pays homage to traditional craftsmanship, the Nordic Space Bed comes with a solid oak wood frame made with timber from sustainably managed forests. To maintain a low climate footprint, the beds leave for their new homes directly from the factory. Premium quality, natural materials enhance the warmth of the design. The solid wood boasts a natural oiled finish, while the upholstery features a blend of linen and cotton.
