For OAMC, one word, above all others, represents the brand’s approach to design: now. Taking inspiration from traditional menswear, the company creates clothing and accessories deeply anchored in what’s relevant in the present moment. Innovative materials and contemporary cultural references are balanced with a certain refinement one can find in all good design. A celebration of a particular type of beautiful simplicity. Originally named Over All Master Cloth, OAMC is based in Paris. That’s also where the products are designed before they’re developed in the company’s Milan atelier, and then manufactured in Italy, Portugal and Japan in limited quantities. The Fall/Winter collection is influenced by a vintage military style and has a strong minimalist foundation, but also features striking creative details throughout, from the camouflage-inspired patterns to the painted bird of prey on a long green coat, structured silhouettes, subtle stitching details, intriguing combination of materials, and layered designs. The colors are maintained subdued throughout to preserve the military aesthetic, with brighter green and blue tones providing a pop of color among grey, black and navy blue tones.
