Interior Design, Italians do it better

Peggy / Futura Lamp

View all 3 Photos

Designed by Hangar Design Group and produced by Vistosi glass factory, the Peggy edition of their classic Futura lamp is a standout from the Hangout collection. Embodying modernism, the lamp pays homage to renowned art collector Peggy Guggenheim, and a large, nine-light version of the design will grace the namesake collection at the Museum Cafè in Venice. Smaller versions with one, two, three, and five lights of varying sizes will soon be available for the home as well. The lamp hangs from the ceiling, dangling orbs of handblown glass. Black metal bands wrap around the white globes, contrasting light with dark and matte with shine. A truly special edition, the Peggy lamp will be presented Milan Design Week alongside pieces from Hangar Design Group’s four new collections.
