The Ducati SportClassic is a dream makeover by Revival Cycles. The client wanted the bike to work better for his height and also to work better. “It came to us a bit battered and bruised,” remembers founder Alan Stulberg. Although taken in stride the end result widened the body, exposed the sexy tank, and finished it off with a rich coffee tone tint throughout. A flat charcoal cover and luxurious leather finishes on the saddle and handle bars classify this project top notch. With a few tweeks the rear subframe was modified 6” thinner, the seat was moved back over 5?, relocated the steering damper, new alloy fenders added, and the frame and swingarm warmly nickel-plated. The wheels are Alpina carbon fiber with new Michelin Pilot racing wet-weather tires; the Discacciati braking system is legit from JC/Pakbikes. Electronically stocked being rewired around a Motogadget M-unit and including a custom ECU. No better way to testify to the awesomeness of such a machine than a classic story that goes like this, “I like to say the bike sounds like it is about to kick someone’s ass in a bar fight,” says Alan. “The cops that pulled us over the other night for speeding said the same thing and let us off with a warning because they loved it so much.”

I find a way to fearlessly provoke your senses and take you by the heart to whatever it is I’m writing about. My sweet spot is creative writing, but for the last 20 years I have been providing freelance content for publications on sustainability and green practices, design, architecture, fashion, and non-profit charity. Recently all wrapped up in producing my first book. I have bounced from NYC to Indianapolis, but my true home is a lovely small town in Central Pennsylvania where there’s a legit drive-your-tractor-to-school-day.
