Inspired by the Shetland Sheep Dog, the Shelty Mid is a playful yet sophisticated mid-height shoe. The Shelty Mid is long and round, just like the nose of its namesake, and the heel loop may even wag when you walk. The thick suede is puppy-soft, stitched down, and made of chromium-free pig leather, a natural alternative to synthetics. Composed of fiberglass and rubber, the sole is stamped and comes with the name and size written in by Buddy. However, the “owner” and “date” are left blank for you to personalize, kind of a dog collar before the age of certified tags and microchips. The Shelty comes with its own dog tag, a leather medallion which hangs from the laces.
