The GuacTruck

View all 11 Photos

The GuacTruck is a modern styled mobile eatery based in Manila, Philippines. The truck originally used for delivery purposes, received a cool looking face lift which include LED and energy saving lighting. Michealle Lee, one of the owners, came up with the whole concept and design of the packaging inspired by the recycling and environmentally friendly movement. The food containers are all made of biodegradable paperboard that’s easy to recycle, a single cardboard folded in an origami style design. Customers are encouraged to bring back their packaging, when they’ve reached 10 they will automatically receive a free meal. This strategy attracts an environmentalist crowd, and sends out a positive message along with delicious looking eats. Would love to try it!
