The “In”gage Chair

View all 9 Photos

Taking the term lawn chair literally, creators Adrian Wu, Wen Han, and Rongxin Zhang present the Ingage Chair. They utilize the ground as part of the seat support to help people connect with nature. Instead of hovering over the plush grass, this chair draws you in. You feel the earth below, smell the fresh greenery, and all the sudden your outdoor experience just got a little more personal. The chair appears submerged, though really it is made of two separate pieces. The frame is light wood, and in somewhat of a sling style, the seat and back are a neutral cloth material.
