Thom Browne’s A/W 2012 Eyewear Collection

View all 24 Photos

It’s been said that “a Thom Browne suit is distinctive in structure and fit”. So why would the designer’s foray into eyewear be any different? In a collaboration with premium eyewear brand Dita, each frame is manufactured by hand in Japan, using “only the highest quality materials: titanium, 18K gold, white gold and the finest Japanese zyl acetates”.

Sounds cryptic, but the results are a vintage vision inspired by classic artists, poets, and musicians of the 40s to 60s. An aesthetic that blends well with Thom’s signature color scheme of traditional red, white, and blue. The vast assortment of sunglasses, eyeglasses, and eyeglasses with clip-on tinted lenses gives more than enough options for the new sartorial season.
