The Victor Writing Desk

An elegant desk that encourages creativity with a poetic design.

Created by artist and designer Mario Airò for Italian furniture brand Adele-C, Victor is a special kind of work desk. The design reflects the artist’s research of the humanist “studiolo”, an Italian word which refers to a small room dedicated to working, writing, and studying. Often, this private room features artworks and decorations as well as other items that reflect some aspects of the user’s personality. The Victor writing desk refines this concept while providing an architectural take on a modern workspace. Made with a blend of materials, the modern wood office desk also showcases the brand’s dedication to traditional craftsmanship.

The solid maple legs boast a stylish tapered silhouette, providing excellent support to the light bamboo veneered tabletop. Several shelves crafted from steam bent bamboo offer generous space for writing tools, drawing accessories, books, and more. Dark bamboo edges complete the design. On one side of the tabletop, a globe that creates a hologram-like image adds a creative touch to the modern wood office desk. At the same time, this detail reveals the poetic concept behind the design. More than just a stylish and functional workspace, Victor invites the user to dream, to reflect, and ultimately to create.
