Audio brand Victrola makes record players that offer fantastic sound quality and also look gorgeous on a shelf. Their Stream Carbon turntable, however, is certified by the Works with Sonos program, meaning that users can enjoy music with an exceptionally deep and vivid sound. The design is also sleek, modern, and minimalist. Stream Carbon comes with a low-resonance, veneered MDF plinth and high-end metal turntable components. Like its name suggests, it also features a carbon fiber tonearm, along with a custom machined aluminum headshell which the user can remove, and an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. These components help to deliver a clear and crisp sound.
The user can quickly adjust the tonearm counterweight to improve sound clarity and enhance the dynamic frequency response. Easy to set up in mere seconds, the turntable connects wirelessly to a Sonos speaker system and also works perfectly with the Sonos app. An illuminated control knob provides centralized volume control and adds a tactile accent to the design. Stream Carbon is a 2-speed, belt-driven turntable that can play 33 1/3 and 45 rpm vinyls. It also features a Victrola silicone slipmat, an RCA output for non-Sonos speakers, and a die-cast aluminum platter. The turntable comes in a timeless Black/Silver version and costs $799.99, with free shipping in the US included. Images © Victrola.
