This wooden home is an UID Architects project called +node. Built in beside a small forest in Hiroshima, Japan, the two stacked wooden volumes offer undisturbed views of the natural surroundings. The design lessens the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces through the use of floor-to-ceiling glass windows and a spacious deck, which beckons the residents to come out from the plywood-lined interior.
