Unlike most custom build projects, this BMW R1100GS Scrambler bike features more than one part designed by the owner in a collaboration with the workshop team. Completed by Moto Adonis, a custom bike workshop based in The Netherlands, the 1997 motorcycle belongs to a tattoo artist who wanted to bring the bike of his dreams to life.

The client’s creative input appears in the curves of the rear frame, the new seatpan and the elegant electric box. The Moto Adonis team designed a handmade fender and installed it alongside a Bates style rear light; at the front, a small fender and headlight fixed in handmade brackets with integrated blinkers replace the old light. The exhaust now features a stainless steel muffler, while the handlebars boast new Biltwell grips. This BMW R1100GS also comes with a leather seat, a fog light, a 2-in-1 Acewell meter, a fresh coat of matte black paint and gloss and matte grey/blue accents. It certainly looks ready to take on both city streets and off-roads in style. Photography by Mark Meisner.
