A symphony of flavors.

Fine chocolate may be as sophisticated as fine wine, but Brasstown Craft Chocolate believes that it should also be fun. Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, this artisan chocolate company makes delicious products bursting with flavor. Chocolatiers Rom Still and Barbara Price founded the company to share their love of chocolate with the world. To craft the gourmet chocolate treats, the brand uses only fair trade cacao beans. A passion for quality and a dedication to maintain complete control over the manufacturing steps ensure that every bar delights, from the first bite to the last.

Brasstown Craft Chocolate uses three types of cacao beans. Forestero is a bulk bean variety that suits milk chocolate products best. Trinitario and Criollos are flavor beans and perfect for dark chocolate. Grown in the Latin American regions, these beans all have their unique notes and flavor profiles, brought to life by expert roasting process. Of course, all of the beans are fair trade and certified organic. The company directly supports local plantations and farmers, helping to stimulate the local economy and promote sustainable farming practices. Unsurprisingly, this collection of gourmet chocolate treats has received several awards, including Good Food and International Chocolate Awards.

The products range from the 45% milk chocolate bar to 85% varieties. Various geographical regions ensure a wide variety of aromas and flavor profiles. Customers can select their favorite from Venezuela, Peru, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. Tasting notes include floral, citrus, and sweet fruit as well as caramel, honey, and coffee. Organic cocoa butter and quality raw sugar join the cacao beans in the 3-ingredients bars, with the company also making chocolate bars that feature chili, blueberry, and smoked sea salt. As the perfect finishing note, each bar comes wrapped in gorgeous packaging with golden accents. Photographs© Brasstown Craft Chocolate.
