Gus Wüstemann completed his studies at ETH Zurich University before traveling the world, working in cities like New York, Paris, Sydney, and Bombay. He founded the Gus Wüstemann Architects practice in 1997, with offices in both Zurich and Barcelona. An international architect, Wüstemann sees urban design and architecture as tools that inspire and reach beyond social rank or aesthetic hierarchy. Throughout the studio’s work, the raw beauty of natural materials takes center stage and combines with sophisticated yet minimalist designs to create living spaces or commercial interiors full of character. The practice has received multiple awards, with projects also published in a range of international magazines.
