Kateryna Sokolova

Ukrainian designer Kateryna Sokolova graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts and holds a master’s degree in Industrial Design. She is a co-founder and Creative Director of brand Noom and SOKOLOVA design studio. Drawing inspiration from her home country of Ukraine and international cultures, the designer creates sophisticated but also minimalist lighting, furniture, and home accessories. From soft chairs that reference cocoons to pendant lights with leaf shapes or designs inspired by the Suprematism art movement, her designs have a distinctive character yet also complement any modern interior. Kateryna Sokolova has participated in many European design competitions and exhibitions. Her work has received prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Design Award 2015.
