A lightweight and comfortable boot that celebrates Danner’s heritage.

Part of Danner’s Fall 2020 collection, the new Logger 917 boot draws inspiration from the brand’s past but offers modern comfort, performance, and versatility. The heritage-inspired design celebrates the original Danner caulked logging boots originally made in the 1930s in the Pacific Northwest. Celebrating vintage designs, Logger 917 features a full-grain leather upper cut from the re-imagined pattern of the original logging boot. A modernized stitchdown construction adds more stability while maintaining the brand’s signature look.

While inspired by old logger boots, Logger 917 offers modern comfort and performance. It features a lightweight but durable and waterproof leather upper. The Vibram® SPE rubberized EVA midsole enhances walking comfort while offering superior support throughout the day. Made with the exclusive Vibram® 917 outsole, Logger 917 provides great grip on concrete or hiking trails. An optional GORE-TEX waterproof liner adds another layer of protection against rain and snow in a breathable material.

Other features include an open-cell OrthoLite® footbed for extra cushioning and two lace options as well as an optional, logger-style lace kiltie for extra mud protection on the top of the boot. Made for both men and women, the Danner Logger 917 boot comes in a range of colorways, from Charcoal, Black, and Port to Chocolate Chip. Available now, the new boot costs $220 or $230 with the GORE-TEX liner. Images courtesy of Danner.
