ELEKTROKATZE Bicycle by ChowPourianLab

Huschang Pourian & Sonia Chow, the eclectic minds of ChowPourianLab have designed a street bicycle with equal parts finesse and power in the Elektrokatze. With a sturdy, steel frame and 20” wheels, the bicycle was built not only to thrive on pavement and gristle alike, but also to afford generous speed and sharp control. A shorter, tighter set of handlebars and a fixed-gear system allow for a quick simplicity that mirrors the aesthetics of the bike itself—sleek and strong, utilitarian yet stylish, bold black against lightning-bolt white. The Elektrokatze’s steel body is one that’s not only appealing, but handcut, welded, and painted with concise skill, punctuated with its mischievous kitten watermark. An exciting new product for the bicycle market, Elektrokatze is bound to become true poetry in motion upon its arrival.
