Emergency Bench by Jamie Wolfond

View all 4 Photos

Jamie Wolfond created the Emergency Bench by using the manufacturer’s existing products as the basis for his design. Inspired by the orange rafting tubes produced by Jack’s Plastic Welding in New Mexico, Wolfond reimagined the same shape as the seat for an inflatable bench. The lightweight design expands to fit its industrial black straps and splayed black and yellow legs. Soft and bright, the bench brings colorful outdoor style into the house. The design can be expanded or collapsed with a standard pump, making it portable and adaptable to small spaces. Check out the Emergency Bench in action on Vimeo.
