The new Explorer 650 Boot made by Danner takes inspiration from the iconic Danner Light, which was first introduced in 1978. A perfect blend of heritage and modern performance, Explorer 650 offers a rugged, lightweight and versatile footwear solution for adventures in the city or in the middle of nowhere. Like all the brand’s products, the boot has a clean, streamlined design. The upper features a combination of full grain leather and durable nylon, providing abrasion resistance while also keeping feet dry.

In terms of comfort, Explorer 650 impresses with a Vibram SPE midsole and an Ortholite footbed. The latter has three layers to provide great support and cushioning as well as optimum air circulation and heat dissipation. The Vibram Escape outsole comes with a Megagrip compound for perfect grip on both wet and dry surfaces. Ideal for both mountain trails and urban exploring, the boot comes in several colorways. Men have a choice between khaki and brown/green, while women can opt between the khaki or gray/sky blue versions. Prices range from $170 to $190. Photographs© Danner.
