Published by Phaidon, Fabien Baron: Works 1983-2019 immerses readers into a mesmerizing visual journey through the work of the celebrated director, art director, and magazine editor. Born in 1959 in France, Fabien Baron was only in his 20s when he became an art director for Barneys in New York. A few years at the iconic Italian Vogue and at Harper’s Bazaar followed. His decades-long collaboration with Calvin Klein that started in the early 1990s continues to this day. In 2008, he became the editorial director of Interview, contributing to the legendary magazine’s reinvention. And this is just a glimpse into Fabien Baron’s prolific career.

The Fabien Baron: Works 1983-2019 book chronicles more than 30 years of award-winning work. This includes everything from art direction and product design to furniture design, interior design, and typography. Among the 424 pages, you can admire 450 illustrations that showcase Baron’s signature style. Apart from inspiring imagery, the book also features texts by acclaimed author Adam Gopnik and a foreword by Kate Moss.
