An exclusive collection of vintage single malt whiskey.
Established in 1895 in Scotland, Gordon & MacPhail is a family-owned and run distiller of single malt Scotch whiskey. Since 1968, the company has launched the Connoisseurs Choice series which feature exclusive cask releases, picked by the company owners. This year, the collection also celebrates the series’ 50th anniversary. Named the Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Collection 2018, the line is is the latest addition to a range that has featured over 2,000 individual bottles over the years, sourced from close to 100 distilleries.
More than just a limited-edition anniversary series, the line includes vintage bottles and whiskeys that are simply one-of-a-kind. Each bottle has its life story printed on the label. Whiskey aficionados can see the bottling date and cask type as well as the whiskey’s age, strength, and tasting notes. This collection includes bottles from the Highland Park, Glentauchers, Glen Keith, Tormore, and Glenlivet distilleries. Among them one can find 15-years-old or 30-years-old single malt whiskeys, with plenty of options in between. Regardless of their age, all of these vintage bottles are special.
Keep in mind that once the products from the Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Collection 2018 are gone, they’re gone forever and will not be produced again. Some of them come in a series of over 600 bottles, while others are available in a series of 148.
