Danish design cues meet eco-friendly materials in a portable lamp that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Beach pebbles, Danish design cues, and principles of sustainability all come together in the new versions of the Rosendahl Soft Spot Solar Lantern. Created by Copenhagen-based designer Maria Berntsen, these portable lamps keep minimalist style and eco-friendliness in perfect balance. At the same time, the lanterns suit indoor or outdoor spaces, providing a stylish lighting solution for spaces as different as a small bedroom, open-plan living room or a lush garden. Produced in three new gorgeous colors, the Soft Spot Solar Lanterns preserve the elegance of the original powder-coated steel lamp, but translate the design into an even more eco-friendly version.

A beautiful example of sustainable design, these solar-powered lamps are crafted from GRS-certified recycled materials in a circular manufacturing process. The lanterns’ eco-conscious build is also outdoor-friendly, just like the original lamp. The circular frame creates a stable base, surrounds the central light globe, and also arches at the top into a practical carrying handle. Easy to take from a kitchen to an outdoor dining space, the lamps provide the perfect alternative to candles.

As practical as they are elegant and eco-friendly, these lamps have a built-in battery with solar cells, making charging easy – and green – on sunny days. During the colder seasons and cloudy days, users can quickly charge the battery via the USB port, with a full charge providing up to 16 hours of light. The dusk sensor also allows users to set-up the lamps to turn on automatically as the sun goes down.

The new Rosendahl Soft Spot Solar Lanterns come in three gorgeous colors: warm Terracotta, light Wheat and calm Sky Blue. All three come in Small and Large sizes, offering the perfect solution to brighten any space and enhance the décor at the same time, whether indoors or outdoors. Photography © Rosendahl.
