Representing at this years MTV VMAs in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on August 25, 2013 is the legit, the one and only KAWS. His talent has thrusted him into the entertainment world, recognizable X eye points, lumpy head dress, unmistakable strong appearance. We first got to know him on our very streets enhancing bus stop advertisements, touching up present graffiti with his. He is known for refacing rather than defacing. Nothing is too far from a KAWS makeover, just a touch here and gouge out the eyes there….and done! We couldn’t wait to see his rendition of the Moonman for this year’s award. Not too much has changed, but nevertheless it’s one of a kind. The whole thing is slightly darker in color yet still metallic. He’s wearing the same space suit as before though with a newly fashioned helmet and layered with shorts, leaving behind a footprint this time with a signature X at the base.

Allison

Allison Parker is a proud stay at home mom maintaining a full schedule kissing boo boos and passing out hugs just because. Her days many times are spent between the garden and the kitchen. From a journey of learning whole food eating habits, she's taken on the challenges of baking bread, muffins and cakes from scratch and filling the cellar shelves with scores of her own canned goods each year. Writing is one of those things she does because its part of who she is. That and it's a nice break from the never ending work that comes with raising a family.
