Whenever I leave the fun of Coney Island for the day, I wish I could take back the adventure and the laughter along with me. Latvian born designer, Martins Straupe makes this a little easier with his limited edition Trivet. It consists of 14 individual handmade wooden pieces that came from the Coney Island boardwalk after its last renovation in 2010. As a part of dfnqline, a project to reclaim and reuse the historic wood of NY history in a stylish and functional way, these playful wooden blocks were each carefully selected, hand-notched and then hand-sanded. They can be separated and assembled in unlimited ways and can bring the pleasure of Coney Island into your own home.
