The smartest backpacks money can buy.

Designed by Berlin-based brand Visvo with cyclists, adventurers, travelers, and urban commuters in mind, this new range of smart backpacks melds a minimalist aesthetic with modern functionality and state-of-the-art technical features. Meet Novel, the smart, high tech backpack that will make your life easier. The three designs vary in size and options, but they all come with a set of ingenious features. Among them, the specially-developed powerbank which can charge smartphones and tablets on the go. Novel 3.0 also comes with an iOS and Android-compatible side-charging pocket, and a RFID-safe pocket which keeps credit cards protected.

Every high tech backpack features integrated LED lights on the straps and on the back. LED strips in the interior help the user find keys or smaller items easily, even in low-light conditions. Made to last a lifetime, the collection uses a 600D Polyester fabric that is durable and high-quality as well as water and stain-resistant. Pockets on the exterior and the interior provide generous space to store essentials and larger items. A roll-top section adds another layer of security, while revolutionary shock absorbing technology keeps the contents safe. Launched on Kickstarter, the campaign to gather funds for the production stage lasts until January 12 2018. The backer packages include price reductions from the future retail price of 30-50%, with an option to visit the studio and enjoy a personalized tour of Berlin also included. Photographs© Visvo.
