Rollbe – A Compact And Practical Measuring Tool

View all 7 Photos

Small, convenient and practical, Rollbe redefines the classic ruler and provides an easy way to measure virtually anything. Created by Karlis Krisjans, creative director and founder of The Work of Mind, Rollbe has a compact shape and an ingenious rolling design. By rolling from point to point, counting the full rotations and then adding the extra units, the user can accurately measure any flat or curved surface. And thanks to the circular design, one can also measure inside corners by adding the radius of the ruler – inscribed on one side – to the measurement.

The stainless steel ruler comes in both Metric and Imperial systems and in two sizes. The 4 inch version has the same size of a larger coin and suits a keychain perfectly, while the 8 inch ruler is ideal for professionals like designers, architects, or craftspeople. Both models have a sturdy brass handle which boasts a laser engraved logo and come with a leather pouch in black or brown. Launched on Kickstarter, Rollbe surpassed the initial goal more than five times over. The campaign ends on August 30 and backers will receive their own Rollbe in November 2017.
