The Singita Boulders Lodge in the Sabi Sand was recently renovated and restyled by architect Sally Tsiliyiannis of GAPP Architects & Urban Designers and the designer studio Cécile & Boyd. Found along the rocky banks of the Sand in South Africa, the updated resort and nature preserve is now closer to the river than ever, heightening the safari experience for travelers. Lushly decorated with an earthy palette and rustic furnishings, the twelve private suites offer guests a tranquil place to call their own. Each suite has a large window and a wooden deck, so that the natural landscape is an ever-present part of the experience. The lodge offers access to the pool, spa, and gym as well as twice-daily safaris and indoor entertainment in the boutique, gallery, and wine cellar.
