Home sweet home for the Jebbias captures the city life in a peaceful nutshell. James Jebbia has been the king of skate culture, clothing them in board meets street apparel known as Supreme for nearly 20 years. His crib reflects a family life, this time keeping his skate influences at work. His adorable children, wife and pup are caught brightening up the place with intention and joy.

The prize here is the abundance of space and freedom in his Greenwich loft apartment. Exaggerated high ceilings and following suite the elongated windows draw your head up and down, up and down again to take it all in. The fresh white walls and run into the white beams, radiators, and sills deep enough to sit in. The kitchen adds warmth and calm with the prominent feature being the gorgeous pine island, with wood grains so welcomes you to linger.  Few furniture pieces, even fewer nick nacks keep things minimal, without the fuss of “stuff”.  It gives you the feel that those that live and love in this space are truly content with the simple things of life.

I find a way to fearlessly provoke your senses and take you by the heart to whatever it is I’m writing about. My sweet spot is creative writing, but for the last 20 years I have been providing freelance content for publications on sustainability and green practices, design, architecture, fashion, and non-profit charity. Recently all wrapped up in producing my first book. I have bounced from NYC to Indianapolis, but my true home is a lovely small town in Central Pennsylvania where there’s a legit drive-your-tractor-to-school-day.
