The Poke Stool by Kyuhyung Cho for Snickeriet

View all 20 Photos

Count on designer Kyuhyung Cho to turn the most humble of objects into a colorful, dynamic project. The Poke Stool, resembling something of a Tinkertoy with its round seat riddled with holes, encourages creativity on the user’s part. Around the seat’s perimeter are a series of twelve holes, four of which are plugged with the natural legs of the stool – and the remaining options are open to interpretation. For a taller stool, stacking multiple stools through this hole-and-peg configuration is a fast solution. For a larger bench, many of the stools can be aggregated in series, with interstitial locking using these holes. Available in a rainbow of colors, The Poke Stool is a must-have, and in multiples!
