Urban Herd Taxidermy by Courtney Timmermans

View all 10 Photos

These taxidermy displays ironically have been shaped by thousands of air rifle BBS. Courtney Timmermans has taken on the meticulous task of recreating this unharmed animal version. Impressive antlers, tusks, beaks and eyes with realistic body sculpting present an Urban Herd in truest form.  Species range from royal maned lion to the traditional moose. Her work is showing at Chicago’s Jean Albano Gallery until August 24.
