The Stylish Urwahn Stadtfuchs Bike

Urban commuters rejoice, for there’s a new bike in town. Designed by Urwahn Bikes, a young start-up based in Germany, Stadtfuchs looks different than other bicycles in its class. Its fresh and stylish look moves into the realm of contemporary, even slightly futuristic designs. “We turned away from traditional constructions, in favor of a more puristic overall appearance with comfortable riding qualities,” explains the company. As a result, Stadtfuchs has an elegant appearance, featuring a seamless and minimalist aesthetic as well as a distinctive curved rear and ergonomic construction. Ideal for a wide range of uses, the versatile bike suits city, track, road, and touring.

Apart from its attractive and aerodynamic appearance, the bicycle also comes with an array of technical features. At the rear, the curved section allows for an enhanced suspension that softens vibrations. The stainless steel frame is acid-resistant and also comes with an integrated LED system which is powered by the front wheel hub’s dynamo generator. A GPS tracker brings more peace of mind that the owner will always know the exact location of the bicycle. Finally, the chic palette reminds of urban environments thanks to its gray, black and dark blue tones. Set to launch in late 2017, Stadtfuchs will also appear in March at this year’s Berlin Bicycle Show. Photo credits: Urwahn Bikes.
