UX4 By SWENYO

Like most clever designs, the UX4 kit uses simplicity and innovation in perfectly measured doses, but unlike many other designs, it provides a unique product that allows the user to have direct input on the result. UX4 is made by California-based SWENYO in a collaboration with designer Ben Uyeda. The kit contains just four steel brackets and hardware; it is ingeniously designed to work with standard 2x4s to help the owner create custom furniture in a few easy steps. There are endless décor makeover possibilities held within these steel pieces, as they can be used to make tables, desks, bookshelves and more. Add to that the ability to personalize the 2x4s and bracket colors that include white, black, silver gray, blue, orange, or copper, and you get a perfect way of creating custom pieces of furniture to suit any interior, space, and personal taste. The young team behind the company is passionate about creating stylish and cool yet functional and durable products which are designed to fit into modern homes and offices, and the UX4 kit is a great example. It puts the power of product design in the hands of the user, offering a versatile and fun DIY furniture kit which will help to create more personal living spaces. The Kickstarter campaign to gather funds for the manufacturing stage is in full swing and you can contribute to become a backer. You’ll receive the kit (and other items) before the rest of the world.
