Aptly named Open-Air, the new Vipp outdoor furniture collection features airy, lightweight designs that refine spaces like gardens, terraces, balconies, and poolside areas. The range translates Vipp’s beloved indoor furniture designs into outdoor-friendly versions. At the same time, it maintains the Danish brand’s dedication to traditional craftsmanship and use of tactile, quality materials. Exploring lightness and organic forms in timeless designs that also represent the best of Scandinavian design, the pieces of furniture nestle into modern living spaces naturally. The Vipp outdoor furniture collection comprises a chair, a lounge chair, coffee tables, a dining table, and a sofa. Crafted to last, the products feature a blend of lightweight, molded aluminum frames, poly rattan, teak, and outdoor-friendly textiles.
Taking its cues from the first Vipp chair, the Vipp711 Open-Air chair has an organic silhouette with graceful curves. The aluminum frame boasts a light gray coating, while the poly rattan wrapped armrests have a light brown color. The chair features an upholstered backrest and a comfortable cushion with a waterproof and UV-resistant cover. Likewise, the Vipp outdoor furniture Open-Air lounge chair references the indoor version and features the same lightweight molded frame. The two cushions are removable, washable, and covered in a 100% Ten Stars fabric woven in Lombardy, Italy. Underneath the cushions, this lounge chair boasts a gray mesh textile for extra back support. Finally, the armrests are finished with teak wood inserts.
The Open-Air coffee tables come in two sizes, but both of them have three slender legs. While the smaller table boasts a solid ceramic top, the larger one grabs one’s attention with slim teak lamellas arranged in an eye-catching pattern. Perfect for enjoying meals outdoors, the Vipp719 Open-Air table combines conical teak wood legs with an aluminum frame and a light ceramic top. The adjustable feet allow users to place the table on slightly uneven surfaces with ease. Finally, the Open-Air 3-seater sofa brings ultimate comfort outdoors. It features quick-dry cushions attached with straps to the aluminum frame, and poly rattan back and armrests.
